Flames of War in August

Postby charliezee » 29 Jul 2012, 15:02

Hi
I am making good progress putting together a basic set of Flames of War terrain for the Cape Fear Games store.
We will have enough in-store terrain for one 4 x 6 foot battlefield with hills and roads and woods and fields.
It will be ready in a week or two when the trees I have ordered arrive.
We can start scheduling games for August.
How do the Flames of War players want to organize and schedule those games?

Charlie,
I would rather organize games to be played on Sundays. That worked for me in the past and I will be starting classes at Cape Fear Community College on August 20th. Until then, I can do week days, but when I start classes, weekends would be easier for me. I can also help to organize the days and times we meet to play. Once again thanks for putting all of this together. If you need any help let me know.

Sundays will work. Others have said that day is best too.

Charlie,
Are we going to meet to play this Sunday? What time, noon?

Not this Sunday. I'm still working to finish basic terrain. Maybe in a week or two. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Maybe you and one of our other players can have a game soon before I finish the store terrain.
I can set up a battlefield with my terrain some Sunday afternoon and another player with an army --perhaps Madjack (on this list)-- would be able to schedule a game.
We can work something out.

Charlie,
What Sunday would it be? Can we make it work for this Sunday or not?

It is probably too close to Sunday to make plans for this weekend.
Once more players post and read messages on this forum we can better co-ordinate games..

What day and time of the day can you play a game? If you are a student, can you play on a weekday afternoon until classes start?

Charlie,
Until August 20th, I can play on weekdays. After August 20th, weekends will be easier. As of now, I can do any time and day. Let me know, and I can make it work.
